The movie Beowulf, unlike what many would perceive, is really animation, and all the characters, even those that look like the actors themselves, are all rendered. Thanks to computer technology, characters drawn from the imagination of designers and other artists now look good and move convincingly enough to be called real, or at least real enough to be enjoyed by mature and jaded movie-goers. But in spite of the fact that the actors never had to show themselves for real in the movie, actress Angelina Jolie admits to being embarrassed about how the movie has exposed her.
