The Star Wars Cast and How They Ended Up

With the exception of Harrison Ford, people often wonder what happened to the rest of the Star Wars cast and what they are doing now. It has been a long time since the first movie and a lot of things have happened, like new careers and stuff. While fans may have followed up on what's happening to the stars, others who simply like movies are simply curious.

Shown in the group picture above are the original members, including those from the later trilogy. You can pick your favorites and see them in close up by clicking on the picture, which would take you to a larger one in it's former context. The insets will also take you to their source site (The World of Creative Advertising) where you can view more before and after photos of the Star Wars cast, including the droids R2D2 and C3PO.

Anyway, some of the fans may have seen Mark Hamill (left) in a handful of movie-in-the-making features and may be aware that he appeared in a virtually unknown Guyver movie and has been busy voicing the Joker and writing comic books, but few can say what happened to Carrie Fisher (inset) or David Prowse (top), the man beneath the mask of the original Darth Vader. Coincidentally, Prowse says he hasn't seen George Lucas in 20 years (that means he's not the one who posed in the picture). It makes us wonder if he feels left out, because that's what happened to the Anakin Skywalker and we all know how he turned out. But we can now wonder less because the news that follows will give you a good idea of what the "Star" cast are doing now or where they are.

Lightsaber-like Weapon Being Developed by U.S.

It's seems inevitable that the powers-that-be in defense would attempt to have a real lightsaber-like weapon developed. Former President Ronald Reagan had Star Wars for inspiration when he had his orbital defense system inked. Now, it seems that the series is still in the minds of scientists and defense officials. It makes us wonder when they'd think of building a Deathstar.

Fantasy and science fiction enthusiasts always wish to see their objects of inspirations in books and movies become real. All sorts of things are being sent into space and some of them are connected to television series or movies. The lightsaber is no exception and it's bound to end up in a galaxy far far away if the will of fans are to be followed.
