Chinese Scientists Produce Piglets that Fluoresce

Chinese scientists have produced piglets that fluoresce when exposed to ultraviolet light (above). Of course, the mother pig did all the work of delivering them. What the scientists did do is prove that pigs genetically-engineered to fluoresce can transfer such genes to their offspring, raising the possibility of using pigs to grow human organs for transplant. The photo on the left shows adult fluorescent pigs. Anyone for a glowing pork chop?
